K-Laser Therapy Testimonials:

"I came in to see Dr. Trent because I had severe pain in my shoulder and arm - a pain level of 12! I had lost the use of the arm completely. He suggested laser treatments. I noticed improvement after each treatment. It was a rotator cuff tear. After four treatments my pain level was 0! I had 90% use of the arm. All of this in ONE WEEK! The last time time I tore it, it took several weeks of physical therapy to get 85% use back. So glad Bandana has this service to offer patients."
-Janet W.

"When I came in to Bandana I could barely walk due to peripheral neuropathy. The laser treatments for this condition are miraculous. My feet throbbed so that it affected everything. Now, after a couple of months, I am pretty much back to normal. Laser therapy is life-changing."

"Through a series of laser & chiropractic appointments at Bandana, I have noticed the following effects: a) increased feeling in my feet and ankles; b) improved balance; c) improved effectiveness of my own exercise program at home."

"The main focus has been on my feet using the laser therapy. I notice more flexibility and feeling in my toes and ankles. My walking has improved. The nerves in my feet were also stimulated by the arthrostim. My feet are less sensitive to pressure as the weeks have gone by. In recent days, I notice I am much more aware of my posture and am aiming to correct old habits."

K-Laser FAQs

We have compiled some frequently asked questions about K-Laser. We would love to answer any questions you have which are not shown here. Give us a call for more information.

How often should a patient be treated?

Acute conditions may be treated daily, particularly if they are accompanied by significant pain. More chronic problems respond better when treatments are received two or three times a week, tapering to once a week or once every other week, with improvement.

How many treatments does it take?

This depends on the nature of the condition begin treated. For some acute conditions, four to six treatments may be sufficient. Those of more chronic nature may require six to twelve (or more) treatments. Conditions such as severe arthritis may require ongoing periodic care to control pain.

How long before results are felt?

You may feel improvement in your condition (usually pain reduction) after the very first treatment. Sometime you will not feel improvement for a number of treatments. This does not mean that the condition is not improving. Each treatment is cumulative and results are often felt after three to four sessions.

Can Laser Therapy be used in conjunction with other forms of treatment?

Yes. Laser Therapy is often used with other forms of treatment, including physical therapy, chiropractic, massage, soft tissue mobilization, electrotherapy, and following surgery. Other healing modalities are complementary and can be used with laser to increase the effectiveness of the treatment.

Does it hurt? What does the treatment feel like?

There is little or no sensation during treatment. Occasionally one feels a mild, soothing warmth or tingling. Areas of pain or inflammation may be sensitive briefly before pain reduction.

Are there any side effects or associated risks?

During more than twenty years of use by healthcare providers all over the word, very few side effects have been reported. Occasionally some old injuries or pain syndromes may feel aggravated for a few days, as the healing response is more active after treatment.

How long does each treatment take?

The typical treatment is 4 to 8 minutes, depending on the size of the area being treated.

Has effectiveness been demonstrated scientifically?

Yes. There are thousands of published studies demonstrating the clinical effectiveness of Laser Therapy. Among these, there are more than one hundred rigorously controlled, scientific studies that document the effectiveness of laser for many critical conditions.
